Every Child’s Got Talent
However, Great Heights Academy seems to be like a professional
painter who for the sake of having a masterpiece keeps all colours even though some are not his favourites. If every colour has a role to play in
an excellent art work, therefore every child has a space to fill. The great institution takes every child with
maximal seriousness in the sense that, the search light is beamed on finding
the area of strength in every ward so as to amplify it to a significant and
observable degree. Yes, some people say there are too much extracurricular
activities in Great Heights Academy such as
inter-house sport activities, drama, cultural day display, quiz, debate, public
speaking, big write, variety show, spelling bee, Science and Art exhibition and
lots more but it’s fine if that is the only way to give every child equal
opportunity to showcase his or her talent. It is true that some children are
heroes in cognitive domain but when it comes to manipulative skills they are zeros. The rationale behind all the aforementioned events is to unleash the
genius in every child.

I want to
categorically affirm solemnly that no child in Great
Heights Academy is haunted by inferiority complex as every ward is given
equal consideration that automatically gives them the drive, enthusiasm and
optimum confidence wherever they find themselves. It is an established fact
that every child has his individual difference that is why people can not all
together be in a single field of endeavour. People fit in to different sectors
for different talents they possess. This is to say that carpenters and masons
etc. are needed in every society the same way it is necessary to have medical
doctors, engineers, etc. This is because nobody is an island of knowledge.
Lastly, discovering
the talents long buried in the depth of the very brain of every child ought to
be the number one priority of both parents and the teachers as the whole task
is a two-way traffic. If it is not the call of a child to be a science student,
mathematician etc., nobody should force it on him for that will be like putting
a round piece in a square hole. Instead, observe the child and find out what he
knows best and enjoys doing then push him down the lane. Always remember that
every child is a piece of puzzle and every piece has its place. Therefore, it
is the duty of the parents and teachers to find the value of ‘x’.
