Science Club: Young Inventors
Indeed, science club is becoming more interesting by the day as we gradually move away from mere theories to a more practical ground in order to enhance the manipulative skills and awaken the techno genius in the children.
Although there were many challenges in this academic session, yet we did not relent in driving hard to achieve one or two things as expected. However, we were able to make some stuffs from simple available materials around us. For example;
i.   An Improvised Rocket- made of straw, cardboard paper, masking tape, gum, and balloons.

ii.

An Improvised Speed boat- made of chicken bread, spring straw, masking tape and balloons.

iii.                  An Improvise basketball- made of black tapes and balloons.

Lastly, we are leading the children to a point they can on their own think of something and make it a reality. This is the sole reason why we switched to DIY (Do it yourself) approach. Because we deal with pupils from primary 1-6, we have chosen to move gradually from known to unknown, simple to complex and general to specific for better assimilation. Our children are future inventors in the making.
